Poverty in developing countries is endemic. Proper education and training are therefore the keys to improving living conditions and providing future.
By offering and / or improvement of vocational training for disadvantaged individuals or groups RAFIKI contributes to their personal and professional development. As a role model they can in turn contribute to the further development of their immediate environment and thus of Tanzania.
The founders of RafikiTanzania do have a history in safari tourism. Therefore, most of the Rafiki funds are supporting vocational training for safari guides and lodge management.
However, since the safari business is a risk as such for its environment, RafikiTanzania also seeks to initiate and support conservation projects in vulnurable area’s like the Northern circuits of Tanzania.
